Hornbach in Tilburg released again after bomb threat

A branch of Hornbach on Hestiastraat in Tilburg was evacuated at the end of the afternoon after a bomb threat. In the end nothing was found.

According to the Brabants Dagblad, the manager received an anonymous phone call around 4.30 pm. He would have had the building vacated immediately. By then the parking lot was already largely empty and a siren went off in the building.

Police deployed a bomb scout to assess the situation. At around 6.15 pm, the police reported that no explosives had been found in the building and that the hardware store had been reopened.
