Honorary member of the KNDB Henk Fokking has passed away. De Amstelvener was chairman of the Provincial North Holland Dambond and organized the Dammen op de Dam tournament together with Thom Nobbe. Fokkink passed away at the age of 83.
He was the chairman of the drafts club DCA, the oldest drafts club in Amstelveen. Last year the club ceased to exist after 55 years. Previously, Fokking provided the checkers results on Saturday evening on NH Radio for years.
