High waves hit Tonga after submarine volcanic eruption: tsunami warning for US west coast, Hawaii hit by flooding

A tsunami warning was issued on the west coast of the United States after the eruption of a submarine volcano near Tonga, a kingdom of 177 islands in the Polynesian archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. This is reported by the meteorological services. Hawaii has also been hit by flooding.
