After two seasons, Stars on Stage will return in the spring of 2026 with ten new celebrities who take up the challenge of becoming a real musical star. The best-known candidates are Shownieuws presenter Dyantha Brooks, singer Roxeanne Hazes, Monique Klemann from Loïs Lane and none other than Hans Klok.

Hans calls himself

Albert Verlinde and Paul de Leeuw, who are jury members in Stars on Stage, talk to the camera Show news that they are proud of the field of candidates. Albert: “During the first season it was really like: okay, who wants to participate? But now artists themselves are calling: I would like to participate.”

Paul then says: “Hans Klok.”

Albert: “Hans Klok, yes. He actually called himself.”

‘I am honored’

Then Hans Klok appears prominently, who begins his Skype interview with Shownieuws as follows: “I’m actually honored that they asked me for this. They rated me highly, because you have to be able to do a lot with this program.”

He continues: “You have to be able to sing and dance. Neither is my specialty, but it is great fun to delve into the world of musicals.”

Hilarity

The statements of Albert and Paul on the one hand and those of Hans on the other lead to hilarity in the Shownieuws studio. “That video is great!” says Story boss Guido den Aantrekker.

Bram Moszkowicz: “Everyone has their own perception, right?”

Presenter Tooske Ragas concludes: “Beautiful, beautiful. The truth lies somewhere in the middle and what is truth and what is reality?”
