Kiel (dpa) – Handball Bundesliga team THW Kiel will have to do without Hendrik Pekeler for a long time.
The 30-year-old defender suffered a torn left Achilles tendon in the Champions League home game against Paris Saint-Germain and will be “out of action for many months”, as the German record champions announced on Friday.
