Groningen homeowners can apply for a subsidy of up to 10,000 euros from Monday to improve their home. It concerns Groningen residents in the area where earthquakes occur as a result of gas extraction. In total, more than 220 million euros is available. The counter opens at a striking moment: it was announced on Thursday that extra gas will be pumped up this year.
