Munich (AP) – National soccer player Leon Goretzka has continued his rehabilitation training at Bayern Munich.
After the 26-year-old returned to the field the day before after persistent knee problems during a running session, the midfielder also worked individually for his comeback on Wednesday. Manuel Neuer also trained individually for reasons of load control.
Goretzka has had patellar tendon problems for a long time. “We’re trying drug therapy and will gradually increase the training. After two weeks we’ll see how the knee reacts,” said coach Julian Nagelsmann recently.
