US boxer legend George Foreman is dead, say CNN and the news agency Ap.
Foreman was a double heavyweight world champion who also won the Olympic gold in his career.
According to the media, Foreman died on Friday 21 March. Known under the nickname “Big George”, a boxer died at the age of 76.
Foreman became a world champion in 1973, when he defeated contrary to anticipation Joe Fraizer. He held his title twice. In 1974, Muhammad Ali won in Foreman’s historic match known as “The Rumble in the Jungle”.
Foreman left boxing in 1977 and worked as a Christian preacher for about a decade. He returned to the ring in the 1980s and continued his career as a boxer until 1997. He later became a businessman.

Foreman had 12 children. All his five sons have the same name as his father.
“I gave all my boys the name George Edward Foreman so they always have something in common,” Foreman wrote on his website People’s magazine by.

According to People magazine, Foreman had also joked about it in an interview with CBN.com.
