I like to look ahead and see what the future holds for me, you know.” An unapologetic George Clooney on the red carpet at the AFI film festival in Los Angeles Jay Kellythe new film by Noah Baumbach in which he plays a movie star who, now aged, reflects on his life and career. «I’m lucky because I’m not unhappy like him and I have very good friends, people I like and am fond of. So I don’t feel as isolated as him.”
In the film the manager with whom he shares the promotional tour in Italy and the melancholic reflections is Adam Sandler. “I don’t look back at the work I wish I had done, but I say, ‘You’re right, time is ticking, let’s make sure we do everything that needs to be done and let’s make sure we do it outside of movies and family and things like that.’ And if we make films, let’s make things that bring joy to people.” The film was shot in Tuscany, between Arezzo and Pienza and in the Piacenza area.
