Gas and oil boss Gerda Verburg: ‘Drastically limit the duration of consultation rounds if the Netherlands wants to remain competitive’

Drastically fewer objection and permit procedures are needed to accelerate the expansion of the power grid, housing construction and energy projects. From now on, these must be completed within two years, says Gerda Verburg, chairman of trade association Element NL on behalf of oil, gas and CO2 storage companies.
