Filippo Ganna has begun his training period in Gran Canaria, which will allow him to refine his preparations in view of his seasonal debut. The 28-year-old Piedmontese from Ineos-Grenadiers is on the island together with sporting director Leonardo and will then be joined by Dario Cioni, who takes care of the time trials for the team. Ganna will remain in Gran Canaria until the 18th; after a few days at home, he will return to Spain from January 24th for a camp with some teammates in Denia. The season debut is scheduled for the Etoile de Besseges, France, from 5 to 9 February. The seasonal focus in spring is on Milan-Sanremo, 22 March, and Paris-Roubaix, 13 April.
