It all started 40 years ago. Inspired by old, mythological stories and artists from Italy, Ger Leegwater started building. His garden is now full of fanciful buildings and statues. He gathers his materials himself. And he is still busy every day. “It’s no longer possible to do it one-on-one,” as he says, but that’s no longer necessary.
