Vincenzo Italiano, with whom Beşiktaş reached an agreement for the position of coach, came to Istanbul. In his first statement, the Italian coach said, “I am very happy. I can’t wait to start as soon as possible. Forza Beşiktaş.”
Beşiktaş appointed Italian coach Vincenzo Italiano to the position of coach vacated by Sergen Yalçın. While the 48-year-old coach was coming to Istanbul, the transfer was announced with a statement made on the club’s social media account. It was learned that the black-whites reached an agreement to sign a 2-year contract with Italiano.
The Italian coach entered Istanbul from Atatürk General Aviation Terminal at around 17.40. Italiano was accompanied by Serdal Adalı and Football Director Önder Özen. Making a short statement to the press at the airport, the Italian coach said, “I am very happy. I can’t wait to start as soon as possible. Forza Beşiktaş.” After the passport procedures, Italiano got into the vehicle waiting for him and left the airport.
The black-whites will hold an official signing ceremony for Vincenzo Italiano tomorrow.
