From thousands of starfish to a puffin and a Scottish carrier pigeon: storm Corrie blew many animals to Dutch beaches

We in Belgium also noticed that ‘storm Corrie’ was accompanied by a lot of wind force last Monday. But off the coast of the Netherlands it was all stormy and turbulent. With striking consequences. Storm Corrie, for example, caused thousands of starfish to wash up on the beach of Scheveningen. Several (special) birds were also blown to the Dutch coast.
