The volleyball team from VfB Friedrichshafen overthrew the big favorite Berlin Recycling Volley and made it into the final of the DVV Cup.
Coach Mark Lebedew’s team defeated the Bundesliga leaders 3-2 (22:25.25:15, 18:25.25:14.15:12).
It was the fourth meeting of the two clubs this season, Friedrichshafen had only won one set in the first three duels. Friedrichshafen meets SVG Lüneburg in the final on March 6th in Mannheim.
