Hamburger SV travels to the training camp in Styria without reserve goalkeeper Marko Johansson. According to the club, the 23-year-old has been released to clarify his sporting future and has been given a guest performance permit. According to the “Bild” the Swede will keep fit in the coming week at his former club Malmö FF, from which he switched to HSV last summer for 600,000 euros.
After signing Matheo Raab, Johansson is looking for a new challenge. With regular keeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes, Tom Mickel and Leo Oppermann, the “Rothosen” currently have three more goalkeepers in their squad. Johansson played seven games for HSV last season, but was dropped from the squad for one game due to allegedly poor training performance.
