Handball Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin has prematurely extended the contract with U21 world champion Nils Lichtlein by two years until 2026.
The capital city club announced the agreement with the 21-year-old backcourt player on Thursday evening.
Lichtlein, a nephew of German ex-world champion goalkeeper Carsten Lichtlein, has been part of the Berlin Bundesliga squad since signing his first professional contract with the Foxes in 2021, in addition to his second game right for third division club VfL Potsdam.
