Williams, best known for series such as The Wire and Boardwalk Empire, was found dead in his apartment on September 6 at age 54. Several weeks later, the official autopsy revealed that he died of an overdose.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan say a 39-year-old man from Brooklyn, New York, is the one who sold the drugs to Williams. He could be seen on security cameras. The man was arrested in Puerto Rico on Tuesday. His alleged accomplices were arrested in New York.

The four could face prison terms of up to 40 years. The drug seller could be given an additional 20 years on top of that because he could be directly linked to Williams’ death.
