Edo Maas was a promising cyclist who seemed to be on his way to the top, but currently he hopes to conquer the world as an artist. The 21-year-old Rotterdammer once ‘shocked’ with an imaginative image of a ‘naked’ King Willem-Alexander and is now throwing himself into a creation that fits this zeitgeist. His love for art fully blossomed after Maas crashed into a car for promises during the Tour of Lombardy in October 2019 and suffered a spinal cord injury.
