FNV definitively calls on NS employees to go on strike in the North region on Wednesday

The FNV calls on employees of the Dutch Railways to go on strike in the North region on Wednesday. “That is now final. As far as we are concerned, there will be no trains in the region from 4 a.m. to 4 a.m.,” said a union spokesman.

According to him, NS employees can stop working in Groningen, Leeuwarden, Lelystad, Zwolle and the NS workshop in Onnen.

“We have just issued the strike call to our members for the first 24-hour strike on Wednesday in the North region. We find it incomprehensible that the NS let it come to this,” said the FNV spokesperson.
