Festival Dranouter is going for a full edition again

Festival Dranouter also had to trade in its big festival for summer sessions two summers in a row. In 2020, these were the ‘Dranouter Summer Sessions’, each with a capacity of 200 people. Last summer it was allowed to do something bigger with the ‘Dranouter Summer Sessions XL’, where 5,000 visitors could be found on the site every day.

But now that all signals point in the right direction, the organization has decided to prepare another full edition of Festival Dranouter. “We are working hard on the line-up and are also drawing up a new set-up for the festival site. This year we will provide a new concert stage on the festival site: De Cirq. In the round circus tent we bring a line-up that builds up every day from more intimate music to exuberant party bands. The disappearance of the church as a concert location is also different this year. Dranouter’s church is a wonderful location for intimate live music, but a tent is simply easier to meet all ventilation standards,” says director Bavo Vanden Broeck, “so this stage will unfortunately no longer be available in 2022.”

The early bird promotion of Festival Dranouter 2022 starts today. This year the organization again offers a corona guarantee when purchasing the tickets.
