Fenerbahçe will host Spartak Trnava in the Conference League

Fenerbahçe will face Slovakia’s Spartak Trnava team in the 6th and last week match of the UEFA Europa Conference League Group H on Thursday, December 14.

The match, which will be played at Ülker Stadium at 20.45, will be referee Aleksandar Stavrev from the North Macedonian Football Federation.

Fenerbahçe, which defeated its opponents in the first 9 matches of the UEFA Europa Conference League in the qualifiers and group matches this season, was defeated in the last 2 matches. The yellow-dark blue team, which has 9 points in the group, fell to third place in the group, first losing 2-0 to Ludogorets away in Bulgaria, and then losing 6-1 to Nordsjaelland in Denmark.

The top two teams, Nordsjaelland and Ludogorets, will face each other in Bulgaria. Fenerbahçe will leave the group if they beat Spartak Trnava.

If the Ludogorets-Nordsjaelland match ends in a draw, Fenerbahçe will be able to finish the group as the leader with a victory.

In case of a possible draw against its opponent, the yellow-dark blue team will wait for Ludogorets to lose to Nordsjaelland for the second place in the group.

Spartak Trnava, which had 4 defeats and 1 draw in 5 matches in the league, will play its last match in Europe this season in Kadıköy.

Fenerbahçe returned from Trnava away with a 2-1 win in its second match in the group.

2 MISSING IN FENERBAHÇE

Becao and Zajc, who were injured in the Fenerbahçe-Spartak Trnava match, will not be able to play.

The technical team will make the final decision regarding Serdar Aziz and Mert Hakan Yandaş, who have been working with the team for a while but are missing matches. İsmail Kartal and his assistants can include two players in the match squad if the fitness of these players is sufficient.

KARTAL PLANS TO BE ON THE FIELD WITH IDEAL 11

Coach İsmail Kartal of Fenerbahçe, which fell to the third place in the group after the defeats in the Ludogorets and Nordsjaelland matches, plans to field the ideal squad in tomorrow’s match.

While morale in the team increased with the 3-1 away win against Beşiktaş, Kartal is expected to make the only change in the first 11 in favor of Samet Akaydın, who is not on the UEFA list. Instead of this player, the Djiku-Oosterwolde duo stays close to the jersey in defense.

TADIC AND SZYMANSKI WILL PLAY THEIR 27TH MATCH THIS SEASON

It is expected that Tadic and Szymanski, the two names that İsmail Kartal has played the most this season, will be in the first 11 against Spartak Trnava.

Dusan Tadic and Sebastian Szymanski drew attention with the goals they scored and the assists they made while playing in all 26 matches played in the league and Europe this season.

Tadic contributed to 18 goals by scoring 11 goals and assisting 7 in the official matches he played this season, while Szymanski scored 11 times and made 10 assists in 26 matches.
