VfB with late connection

FC Bayern has lost the transfer poker around Nick Woltemade, but won the first title of the season. The Munich team defeated VfB Stuttgart 2-1 (1-0) in the duel around the Franz Beckenbauer supercup and take the silver spotted home from the guest performance on the Neckar.

Striker Harry Kane (18th minute) and 70 million shopping Luis Díaz (77th) with his first Bayern goal met in front of 60,000 spectators. On the other hand, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer prevented the intermediate Stuttgart equalization with an outstanding parade against Woltemade (24th). The 23-year-old, especially in focus that evening, put his hands over his head. In the 74th minute he missed another good opportunity. The 1-2 connection hit by Jamie Leweling (90.+4) came too late for the Stuttgart.

On the lawn, the master clearly gave the tone. Leon Goretzka came to two degrees in the first five minutes. After almost 20 minutes, Kane used a thick mistake of the VfB defensive. Defense attorney Luca Jaquez fended off the ball directly in front of the English’s feet on the penalty area – and he hit the left corner.

In the middle of the first half, the Stuttgart and Woltemade also got better into play. The attacker initially had a heavy one against his in the duel as a squeamish guard Upamecano, but then suddenly the 1-1 on his foot. From a short distance, he failed to Neuer, who had previously been there against Josha Vagnoman.

Konrad Laimer (26th), again Goretzka (34th) and Michael Olise (38th) awarded further opportunities for the guests. VfB also had one or the other good offensive campaigns in the overall very entertaining game.

Bavaria’s star shop Diaz hits head

Stuttgart Deniz Undav opened the second round with a free kick over the goal (50th). Two minutes later, Bayern’s Olise would have put the ball into a new teammate Diaz on a counterattack, but instead got stuck with a shot. The game, in which Sebastian Hoeneß was in a competitive game as a VfB coach on the sidelines for the 100th time, became more heated.

In the 63rd minute, Stuttgart’s goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow, who again represented the stricken stem keeper Alexander Nübel, prevented the early KO of the Swabians. After Woltemade missed the 1-1 1: 1 against the newly reacting new (74th) and Leweling against the newly reacting, Diaz made everything clear to the Munich. FC Liverpool’s star obligation hit the Bayern title after a cross of the busy Serge Gnabry. Leweling’s hit did not change the success of Bayern.
