“Extremely dissatisfied”: Bayern star wants to leave

It’s no secret that Ryan Gravenberch had imagined his first season in the FC Bayern jersey differently. That the Dutchman has considered a farewell, also not. Now the midfielder’s management is said to have taken concrete steps.

“I don’t want to experience a year like that again,” the 21-year-old railed in mid-June 2023 in an interview with the Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf” and demanded: “I just want to play more, preferably at Bayern Munich.”

However, two and a half months after this statement, the U21 national player is still a long way from being on the pitch regularly for Bayern Munich: Gravenberch only played nine out of a possible 270 competitive game minutes. A circumstance that has allegedly finally strengthened the youngster’s desire to change.

According to “Sport1”, Gravenberch wants to leave FC Bayern by the end of the summer transfer period on September 1st. Representatives of the legal base are said to have informed those responsible on Säbener Straße “weeks ago about this request”, it said.

Bayern Munich star worries about his future

Gravenberch is “extremely unhappy with his role” and worried about his future at club level and with the Dutch national team, according to the report. The talent had already missed the World Cup in Qatar after it hardly got a chance in Munich.

However, the TV broadcaster also wants to know that no concrete offer for Gravenberch has landed on FC Bayern’s table yet.

Most recently, however, Liverpool and Manchester United from the English Premier League in particular have repeatedly been associated with a Gravenberch transfer. It cannot be ruled out that a deal will come about in the home stretch of the transfer window.
