Erik Palmer-Brown leaves Man City for ESTAC Troyes for good

Active in France since the beginning of the season

Erik Palmer-Brown (24) is leaving Manchester City for good and moving to ESTAC Troyes, where the defender was previously on loan. As the French club announced on Wednesday, the centre-back has signed a contract until 2024.

The USA international has only been used sparingly in Champagne this season, often commuting between the bench and the stands before starting the last four games. Palmer-Brown is the second professional after Luka Ilic (22) who was initially loaned out from Manchester and then signed on a long-term basis by Troyes. Since autumn 2020, both clubs have been part of the City Football Group.

For the defensive player, a loan odyssey that began in winter 2018 after his move to the “Citizens” ends at the same time. In addition to ESTAC Troyes, the right foot has already been awarded to KV Kortrijk, NAC Breda and Austria Vienna. For the top English club, Palmer-Brown had remained completely unemployed.
