The newcomer to the upcoming municipal elections in the coastal municipality had previously put Alfons Morssink forward as the party leader. In the past he was alderman for the VVD in the then independent municipality of Noordwijkerhout.
Morssink is not the only one with experience in the political arena. John van der Klaauw (number 3 on the list) was previously a councilor for List Salman Noordwijk, while Lenie Zoetendaal (10), Victor Salman (11) and Andries de Boer (13) previously sat on the city council for the CDA. Salman was also an alderman for many years. Alexandra Dik, number 2 at the Party for the Inhabitants, is co-founder of interest group Noordwijk Transparant.
Project developer Paul Brandjes, who has pledged his emphatic support to the party, is himself in 28th place on the electoral list. Just before the striking number 30, list pusher Renkema. After Morssink, the top ten of the list of candidates consists of Dik, Van der Klaauw, Alois Eberharter, Ronald Kat, Marco Pas, Willem Hoek, Angela Heemskerk, Ivar Kruse and Zoetendaal.
