Hit the knee
Enzo Millot still has to wait for his debut for the French U21 team. The 21-year-old midfielder is returning early from the national team to VfB Stuttgart, as the club announced on Friday. The reason for this is a blow to the knee that Millot suffered during training with the “Équipe Tricolore”. It is said that the youngster will be examined further upon his return.
All market value changes from VfB Stuttgart explained in detail
Millot has contributed three goals and two assists in eleven competitive games this season and was one of the big winners in the Bundesliga’s latest market value update – he went from 13 million to 20 million euros, which is only bettered by Serhou Guirassy in the VfB squad. Millot was nominated for the second time by U21 coach Thierry Henry for the current international period, but has not played so far. If he wasn’t part of the matchday squad against Slovenia and Bosnia, he was on the bench for 90 minutes against Cyprus (9-0) on Tuesday. This Friday (6:30 p.m.) Les Bleus will face Austria in the European Championship qualifiers.
