That tells the 48-year-old actress in the podcast Fail Better from colleague David Duchovny.

Stamping

After the recordings, Deschanel thought it was important to prepare her work for the next day. “So I always stayed up late to learn my text. I arrived on the set and tried to remember my text, but I had not slept because I had been stamping. It was in my head, but it didn’t come out.”

One day, due to an accident, Deschanel arrived late on the set, after which she was strictly addressed by the producers. “They said that I was too late and unprepared. It still makes me emotional, because I probably embarrassed,” says the actress. “I was a wreck, it came so fast. I was such a fragile person at the time. I became harder because I played in the series for so long,” says the actress.

Between 2005 and 2017, Deschanel played the role of Temperance Brennan for twelve seasons, an anthropologist who uses bones of victims to help the FBI solve murder matters. “I didn’t sleep, I was stressed, I was already such an emotional person, I just wasn’t myself.”
