The Transfermarkt community voted on the eleven for the 19th Bundesliga matchday and named four players in the top selection for the first time. There was no way around two strikers in the voting: Deniz Undav and Niclas Füllkrug collected the most votes after their hat-tricks for VfB Stuttgart and BVB respectively – both with almost the same number. Around 70 percent of users chose Undav and Füllkrug. For the Dortmund attacker, it is the first nomination for a matchday eleven since his move to Borussia.

Also in the user team for the first time are two Gladbachers who stood up to the league leaders from Leverkusen and kept a clean sheet: Moritz Nicolas as the most chosen goalkeeper of the weekend and central defender Marvin Friedrich, who the community has fielded in the defense center alongside Stuttgart’s Waldemar Anton. His teammate Josha Vagnoman is another debutant in a matchday eleven this season, but with 21 percent of the votes he is well behind his counterpart on the right defensive side, where Bayern’s Alphonso Davies is the most voted defender with 33 percent.

While the team includes another Munich player, goalscorer Aleksandar Pavlovic, and a Werder representative, Justin Njinmah, the squad is completed with two more Stuttgart players. Enzo Millot and Chris Führich, who were nominated for the first time, collected the most votes with 38 percent and 35 percent respectively, behind the storm duo Undav and Füllkrug. There is also someone from VfB in the coaching bench: Sebastian Hoeneß (21 percent) is the most chosen coach and has been part of a matchday team for the sixth time this season.
