Eintracht Frankfurt: Andreas Möller leaves the Bundesliga

Only three years ago he took on a new position at the Hessians, now Andreas Möller will say goodbye again. The longtime national player also explains why he is leaving.

Former world and European champion Andreas Möller is leaving the Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season. The head of the performance center is no longer available to the association for personal reasons. The Hessians announced this on Tuesday. The contract will therefore not be extended – at the instigation of the 54-year-old.

“After the end of my contract, I would like to devote more time to my private life and have more time for my family,” said Möller. A successor is still unknown. Möller was installed by the then sports director Fredi Bobic in October 2019 as head of the youth center.
