The Flemish Education Council (Vlor) is very keen on the plans of the Flemish government to structurally anchor the summer schools. Summer schools are only allowed for the Education Council in times of crisis. Outside these times of crisis, it is up to regular education to guarantee quality education, according to an advisory report. The resources for the summer schools can therefore be “better used for quality regular education”.
