In the Samara region, traffic on the M-5 highway was temporarily restricted. About it reported in the press service of the traffic police in the Samara region.

“At 10:00, a restriction was introduced for the movement of trucks and route vehicles at the entrance to Orenburg from M-5 Ural (km 29 + 115 – km 132 + 565) in the Samara region,” the message says.

The reason for the overlap was unfavorable weather conditions – gusty wind, blizzard, limited visibility, the traffic police explained. According to the ministry, traffic will be limited until 15:00 on January 2.

“The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Samara Region calls on motorists to take into account the weather conditions, refrain from driving unnecessarily, and be extremely careful on the roads,” the press service added.

In Yekaterinburg, traffic on a part of the ring road was blocked due to smog

The M-5 highway was previously completely blocked in the Iglinsky district of Bashkortostan due to an accident with four trucks. On the morning of December 18, at the 1536th kilometer of the Samara – Ufa – Chelyabinsk highway, Skania, Man, Mercedes-Benz trucks and an auto transporter Skania collided. As a result of the accident, no one was injured, only cars were damaged. For cars, a detour of a section of the road through the villages of Urman and Ulu-Telyak was organized.
