A motorist was arrested in Lierop on Wednesday evening because she was driving under the influence of drugs. The police also found a large quantity of loose bags of drugs in the car.
The woman was stopped at the Lungendonk in Lierop. A saliva test showed she was probably under the influence of cannabis and cocaine. The officers also checked her car. Inside they found a considerable amount of drugs, all loosely packaged.
Due to some other indications, the officers strongly suspected that it was a drug dealer. They then raided her house in Helmond. More soft and hard drugs were found there. All drugs have been seized and the police are continuing to investigate the woman.
