The last NEWS cover was prescient. “The risk partner,” it was titled, with the image of Patricia Bullrich hugging Javier Milei. In the descent it was said: “She publicly challenges the President and confronts Karina’s power. She criticized Adorni and was punished in the tedeum. They accuse her of plotting against the Milei. Why she sells herself as plan B of the red circle. The ally who could become the Government’s worst nightmare.” And the note narrated details of the increasingly difficult coexistence between the head of state and the former minister who surpasses him in image polls and aspires to keep the place that he occupies today.

The evidence was visible, even though Mileism insisted on hiding it and the official press minimized the matter as if it were an elephant in the room that everyone sees but no one names. However, what this magazine exposed was demonstrated in the facts in recent days, when Bullrich once again challenged his bosses and differentiated himself from them in the scandal of the document of the candidate for judge María Verónica Michelli, which the Government asked to withdraw due to her relationship with the journalist Hugo Alconada Mon, whose investigations bother the Milei brothers. The former minister spoke of “freedom of conscience” to express her disagreement with the move and said that she communicated it personally to the President. And not only that: he presented his resignation to the leadership of the bloc of libertarian senators, rejected by Milei. In a flash, the conflict became undisguisable.

For readers of NOTICIAS, a publication accustomed to uncomfortable revelations and anticipating and exposing what power wants to cover up, this was no surprise.
