Christmas storm lashes California: three dead, San Francisco metro flooded

The US state of California is being hit by successive storms this Christmas, causing excessive rain, flash floods and mudslides. In San Francisco, the subway is flooded, while in Los Angeles people had to be evacuated from their rooftops by helicopter.
