Doja Cat has spoken out on social media, calling on Elon Musk to bring back X’s audio post feature, which was removed from the platform last year. However, your approach is unlikely to have the desired effect – Because in addition to the request, the post contained a whole series of insults.
“hey elon if u see this please put the audio post feature back on here,” wrote Doja Cat late Wednesday evening on X. “Thanks, u frog build looking bitch. Barrel chested ewok u look like u eat sand.”
A few hours later she followed up: “@elonmusk put the audio post feature back on this app. Thanks, you hairless no-neck havin, chimpanzee. Face look like it was drawn from memory. When u swim on ur back at the beach shit look like a man o’ war. Hourglass ankles. Not tryna be mean though sorry.”
Dispute over deleted feature
X, formerly known as Twitter, once had a feature that allowed users to post voice messages to their feed. Sending voice messages via DM is still possible. Musk purchased X in October 2022 and has since made numerous changes to the popular platform.
This isn’t the first time Doja Cat has clashed with Musk. In 2024, he posted a racist meme about diversity in film, to which she replied, “SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT UP NO ONE FUCKING CARES SHUT THE FUCK UP.”

Musk also previously had a falling out with Billie Eilish after she called him a “pathetic pussy bitch coward” for hoarding wealth during a global crisis. Eilish had targeted Musk by name in her acceptance speech at the WSJ Innovator Awards, criticizing billionaires for amassing their wealth while “people need empathy and help more than ever, especially in our country.” Eilish later shared on her Instagram Stories a series of infographics from the activist movement My Voice, My Choice that highlighted ways Musk could redistribute his vast wealth.

Musk responded to X with the words: “She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.” He has not yet responded to Doja Cat’s attack.
