Attacker Nils Petersen has regained his self-confidence after a long period of suffering during the international break.
The 33-year-old saved the Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in a friendly against second division club SV Sandhausen with a brace (52nd, 54th) a 2-2 (0-1). Petersen was out for weeks at the end of 2021 due to a knee injury, and he scored his only goal of the season in the league on October 2nd.
Bashkim Ajdini (9th) and Alexander Schirow (70th) scored for Sandhausen.
