Despite praising his administration’s efforts to develop coronavirus vaccines, Trump rarely talks publicly about his own vaccine. He did so last Sunday, during a CNN conversation with Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.

As soon as Trump answers positively to the question of whether he has already received his booster shot, there is an outcry from part of the audience present. Trump then tries to appease the public himself. “Don’t, don’t…! (…) We have saved tens of millions of lives.”

The former president said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in September that he “may not go for the booster”. “I’m not against it, but I feel in good shape. It may not be for me,” he said at the time.
