Finnish men prefer well -fitting boxers, which are classic black, cotton with a touch of elastane elasticity, says Pierre Robert Oy, Marketing Director of the Black Horse Brand Marketing Elina Standertskjöld-Nordenstam.
– This is linked to general dress trends. Now that men’s pants are loosened, loose boxer shorts are clearly coming back.
Alongside the classic black, we also see wild patterns, a bit like socks.
The diversification of material alternatives is also reflected in calendar fashion.
-Cotton-eel is the most popular material. Boxers made from Tencel, on the other hand, are very soft on. Nowadays, a lot of underpants are used for sports that remove moisture from the skin and are breathable.
There are no pads visible in the trends of a Finnish man.
The hit completely disappeared
Men’s panty type, which has recently been slightly faded by perhaps the weather, has long calzers.
“Merino wool products have come alongside traditional long calzers,” says Standertskjöld-Nordenstam.
The Black Horse, who is celebrating 50 years this year, was once a hit from the store. At the same time, the tuber had long panties that were sewn with short panties inside.
– So the man was able to pull on both long and short panties at once. It was a really big hit in our history.
