Employees of Albert Heijn distribution centers in the Netherlands will go on strike on Sunday evening, the Dutch trade unions CNV and FNV announced on Sunday. They do so after an ultimatum issued by the unions had expired. The strike could mean that AH supermarkets are no longer supplied and that empty shelves arise, also in Belgium.
