A clinical trial is underway in the US and Australia on a new gene therapy for people with frontal lobe dementia. After Alzheimer’s disease, it is the most common form of early-onset dementia. This is reported by VIB, the research institute headed by Professor Christine Van Broeckhoven, which made the treatment possible with genetic research.
