CROSS-CROSS – David Haverdings from Zuidlaren has won the first cyclo-cross of the U23 World Cup season. In Tabor, Czech Republic, Drenthe was too quick for the Frenchman Aubin Sparfel in the final meters.
David Haverdings’ brother Floris Haverdings finished eleventh in the same race.
In addition to the competition in Tabor, there are eleven more World Cup competitions. The only World Cup race in the Netherlands will take place on January 25, when the riders will come to Hoogerheide in North Brabant.
