Hennig leads the DSV team

Katharina Hennig should be looking forward to the competition. The DSV cross-country skiers are considered to be the best athletes in classic technique and the mass start should suit her. So there are good chances of making progress in the Tour de Ski. Hennig is currently in 14th place. In addition to her, Katherine Sauerbrey, Pia Fink, Lisa Lohmann as well as Sofie Krehl and Antonia Fräbel are still on the tour. The remaining DSV athletes have since dropped out.

Can persecutors work their way up again?

The chasers now have to work their way up to Nepryaeva again at the mass start. Jessie Diggins in particular will have a hard time. Compared to Nepryaeva and Niskanen, the American is considered to be a weaker runner in the classical technique.
