On Saturday, a nasty incident took place in the SM league match between SaiPa and JYP.
A 14-year-old JYP supporter was injured when he was pushed at the ice rink in Lappeenranta Kisapuisto.
Southeast Finland police confirm the event. It is recorded as a criminal report.
– I don’t see the crime title, but I could imagine it would be here to assault or mild assault, the older constable Juha Laukkanen Comment.
According to police, the situation happened shortly before the match began. According to the description, someone would push a 14-year-old JYP supporter.
A minor supporter fell and hurt his head. Police do not comment on whether or not the pusher was a supporter of either team.
SaiPa won JYP in 6-3.
