He is known for his political statements and has never taken a leaf out of his mouth – especially in the fight against right -wing extremism and the AfD. Now Peter Fischer, the former club president of Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, has caused a sensation with a clear position and a statement. This reports the “Bild” newspaper.
Accordingly, the 68-year-old took part in a demonstration by the Christopher Street Day movement in Frankfurt-and received great applause from the almost 20,000 participants for a speech. Fischer referred to the right -wing extremist AfD secured as “this brown crap” and called for society to act to counteract right -wing currents: “set a clear sign in this city!”
Even more: Fischer also explained under the cheering of the audience that he had “over 4,400 charges of the AfD. I’m not proud of it, but these bums accuse me of fighting their lies.” Fischer announced: “You will not win a process.” He concluded his appearance at the demonstration with an emotional “I love you.”
Fischer, who was President of the Hesse from 2000 to 2024 and witnessed the DFB Cup victory in 2018 and the European League success in 2022, had already clearly commented with clear statements in the past. The entrepreneur received a lot of encouragement for his explanation in an interview with the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” in 2017, after which he did not want to have AfD members at Eintracht.
