Course of the Month: Electrical Engineering – Energy Systems and Automation (ESA)

From robotic arms and Industry 4.0

As a matter of course, people buy and consume goods that are no longer created solely by muscle power. Industry is automating many of its processes, from the assembly line to the packaging machine and robotic arms that assemble car parts. In the Electrical Engineering – Energy Systems and Automation (ESA) course, students learn the basics of electrical engineering, mathematics, physics and programming, among other things. From the 5th semester, for example, they go deeper into the automation of processes in the field of automation. ESA Student Till finds:

I am particularly fascinated by the control of machines and the logic of processes. When does what have to happen? And: with which components can I realize this? What problems can occur and how can I prevent them?
