Coldplay and Selena Gomez have released the song “Let Somebody Go” together. The single premiered on James Corden’s The Late Late Show. Coldplay are now releasing a music video for it.

The black and white clip was directed by Dave Meyers, who also produced the video for Coldplay’s previous single “Higher” and worked with BTS. Here you can see the video:

The collaboration with Selena Gomez was released last October on Coldplay’s ninth studio album MUSIC OF THE SPHERES. The band and Gomez also performed the song live on James Corden’s “Late Late Show” in October.

Meanwhile, Coldplay singer Chris Martin announced on Ellen Degeneres’ talk show that one of the band’s three most recent albums will be released as a musical. Martin said he was very interested in writing a film musical.

“I think over time we’ve learned … we’re so fortunate that we can just follow what feels right,” he continued. “And that’s what we decided to do. So our music changes a bit: sometimes we lose people and we bring in other people.”

From March, Coldplay will also go on a well-planned world tour, which will also take the band to Germany for four concerts in July: two in Berlin, two in Frankfurt.
