Clinical trials of the Sputnik M vaccine for children have begun in Russia

Clinical Trials vaccines “Sputnik M” for children from 6 to 11 years old already started. The Ministry of Health of Russia issued a permit to the Gamaleya Center.

More than 2,000 patients will participate in the study. And the tests will take place on the basis of three Moscow medical institutions – the Morozov Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Hospital named after Bashlyaeva, as well as at Sechenov University.

The results are expected to be announced at the end of 2023.

According to the operational headquarters, over the past week, the incidence rate coronavirus COVID-19 in Russia per 100,000 population grew by more than one hundred percent.
