Christoph Schneider thanks you profusely for the support – as a farewell?

“Many, many thanks to everyone, behind, in front of and on stage, to everyone who was with us, for all your support, your commitment, your strength, perseverance and loyalty on this tour in 2023. I will never forget that! “, is the caption of a new Instagram post that Rammstein drummer Christoph Schneider posted on Instagram on Tuesday (22 August).

In the original: “Many, many thanks to everyone, behind, in front and on the stage, to everybody who was on the road with us for all your support, your effort, your strength, endurance and faithfulness on this tour 2023. I will never forget!”

“I will never forget” – That almost reads like parting words. It was also quite a busy year for the drummer. Allegations of abuse against Till Lindemann, and he himself could not hold back his tears on stage. He later published a larmoyant-looking, very long justification post in which he emphasized that nothing criminal had happened in the Rammstein camp, but that singer Lindemann had distanced himself a bit from the others.

Now Schneider posts pics: of how he makes the heart-shape gesture, how he sails through the audience in a rubber boat, of beaming fans holding up signs (“we don’t want to be without you”), of the band laughing backstage. All in a good mood and smirking – as if nothing had ever happened.

It is currently not clear how Rammstein will continue. There are rumors of a world tour in 2024, when the band will celebrate their 30th anniversary. Lead guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe posts cryptic messages on socials, and Lindemann himself has a festival appearance (“The Voice of Rammstein”) in the US in September with the Lindemann solo project.

Meanwhile, Lindemann’s legal team has suffered a defeat in court – and Shelby Lynn is urging female fans to take the opportunity to meet and greet with Lindemann.

It remains to be seen whether Rammstein can simply continue like this in the coming year.
