Chief Creative Officer comes from Adidas

Cycling apparel brand Rapha has appointed Robert Lee as Chief Creative Officer. Lee will begin his new role effective immediately, the brand announced on Wednesday.

Lee’s responsibilities will now lead the brand’s product and brand creative teams. He also oversees Rapha’s brand strategy to “imagine a new future for Rapha and for cycling,” according to the statement.

The designated Chief Creative Officer already gained experience in the sports industry at the sports brand Reebok and the sports goods supplier Adidas. Lee came to Herzogenaurach in 2008 and managed branding for the Adidas brand as well as product design for the training, athletics, sportswear and basketball divisions.

“Creativity and design have been at the heart of the Rapha brand since its inception, and Rob will bring his passion for products, culture and his own cyclist perspective to help us continue to inspire the world to live life on the bike” , said Rapha CEO Francois Convercey.
